Bauma CHINA (Shanghai BMW Construction Machinery Exhibition) 2018 highlights

Bauma CHINA 2018, the 9th CHINA International Construction Machinery, building materials machinery, mining machinery, engineering vehicles and Equipment Expo has been successfully held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 27 to 30, 2018. The exhibition fully displayed the innovative products and technical achievements in the fields of construction machinery, mining raw material extraction and processing equipment, building materials machinery, accessories and services, and witnessed the wisdom inherited in the development of the construction machinery industry.

The four-day exhibition was unprecedented, and the data set a new record: the exhibition area reached a new high, exceeding 330,000 square meters. All the exhibition areas in Shanghai New International Expo Center have been used, with an increase of 10% compared with last year. With a total of 3,350 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions, the number of exhibitors increased by 13%. It attracted 212,500 professional visitors, with an increase of 25%. Since 2002, Bauma CHINA and CHINA's construction machinery industry have gone through ups and downs together. The unexpected success of this year's exhibition indicates that The development of CHINA's construction machinery industry will finally enter a New Year after several years of construction, and a new starting point starts from Bauma CHINA 2018!



As a grand feast for the construction machinery industry in Asia, Bauma CHINA attracted a total of 212,500 professional visitors to visit and negotiate in 2018, an increase of 25% over the previous year, among which 94% of the buyers came from Asia. China, South Korea, Russia, India, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore are the top 10 countries and regions for visitors. "Bauma CHINA not only has a much larger number of exhibitors than last year, but also has a very large number of visitors at our booth, most of them from the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region," said Zou Xuesong, executive deputy general manager of CHINA National Machinery Heavy Industry Corporation. Jonathan Stringham, vice President of marketing and digital strategy at BOMAG, also praised Bauma CHINA. "We were very impressed." Our booth received a lot of customers who showed great interest in our equipment and technology. Most of the customers are from China, but many are from Southeast Asia and Russia. Bauma CHINA is an important event of engineering and construction industry.
