Planetary Bogie Axle

NAF's bogie axles are designed for axle loads from 10 to 50 tons. This axle size TAP 89 has been developed for construction machinery such as Motorgrader or Articulated Dumpo Trucks and ensures that all 4 tires have ground contact, even on difficult terrain, for the best possible load distribution and traction. The patented Permanent Bogie Balancing System (PBBS®) can be integrated into all bogie axles. Encapsulated oil immersed disc brakes and various differential locks are available for all sizes of bogie axles. Customised adaptations based on NAF’s modular-minded system, possible e.g. track width, etc.

In response to the high market demand for heavier and more powerful machines NAF AG developed a new heavy duty and high power rigid axle series SAP 9900 for 4x4 drivelines. Capable of carrying 40 tons of dynamic load and handling an output torque of 180.00Nm per axle. Furthermore the heavy-duty wheel end– made for all-terrain applications – doesn´t matter what tires you need.
