Parmafluid, as a Certified Excellence Solution Partner, has participated in the PowerOn event organized by Bosch Rexroth Italia to illustrate the new components and latest generation technological solutions on the path to electrification and digitalisation of mobile hydraulic applications.

But which are the market challenges that the transition from hydraulically controlled components to electronic/digital controlled components must face?

Bosch Rexroth's electrification development project is based on two main assets, the BODAS system and the eLION platform:

1. Bosch Rexroth Digital Application Solutions – BODAS: the overall package of IoT solutions, electronic software and hardware which is divided into the BODAS Connect systems (data transfer), BODAS Software (programming, parameterization and diagnosis) and BODAS Hardware (control units, gateways, sensors and interfaces)
2. eLION: dedicated product portfolio including motor generators, inverters, electronic gearboxes and corresponding hydraulic components.

Among the new components illustrated during the PowerOn event were presented:

1. eLION electric motors integrated with fixed or variable displacement hydraulic pumps equipped with special gearboxes for high speed motors (up to 12000rpm)
2. Innercept Digital Proportional Control, the new Hydraforce device with continuous LVDT sensor applicable to electro-proportional valves to monitor and feedback the spool.
3. BODAS systems for 360° ultrasonic obstacle detection
4. AZPS external gear pump of the “silence plus” type which guarantees up to 15 dB more silence than conventional gear pumps.
